  • 1 Charging Cable
  • 1 User Manual
  • 1 Waranty Card

Clip 3 has the fabric mesh on the front of the body and has raised control buttons on the front that make it easier to know what you’re pressing without having to look.

Clip 3 doesn’t have a built-in audio cable like Clip 2. But since having an audio jack on the phone these days is considered a feature. I don’t think it’s a big deal for smaller speakers like these. But the Clip 3 still has an audio jack so you can use your cable if you want to use a wired connection to save on battery life.

Clip 3 chargers via a Micro USB port. Regarding battery life, JBL advertises a battery life of 10 hours on Clip 3, which is a 2-hour improvement from Clip 2. In my testing, I was able to hit 10 hours of playback time with the volume set at 50%. But with the amount set at 80%, clip 3 managed to hit five and a half hours of playback time. And with the volume set at 100%, Clip 3 managed to hit 3 hours of playback time, which is not bad for this little guy.

Clip 3 is using Bluetooth 4.1, and I found the connection was pretty stable, and having a single wall or two between the speaker and my phone didn’t cause stuttering issues. I also notice latency was pretty low. So I would recommend this speaker for watching youtube videos.

The sound on the clip 3 is just overall clearer, and there’s more bass. Clip 3 doesn’t sound muddy like clip 2 does. I also noticed that the Clip 3 gets significantly louder than the Clip 2.

Overall, JBL’s ultra-portable Clip 3 is a pretty good improvement over the clip 2. Bluetooth latency has been reduced, battery life has been improved and the clip 3 sounds significantly better than the clip 2. Clip 3 is an excellent little speaker if you want something small and rugged for personal listening for when you go out hiking.

If you’re someone like me who likes to shower with music or podcasts playing in the background, the clip three can get the job done quickly.

At first glance, it is compact; it can easily fit in your hands and, in my case, in my pocket, so in terms of portability, this is the right choice.

The build and the design are different compared to the first version which has rounded corners, which allows for a better grip in the hands and gives it a very sophisticated look.

It has a rubbery material surface, which makes it feel great to hold and makes it not slippery, and it also enhances its durability.

The control buttons, including the power button, the volume button, the Bluetooth, button play, and pause buttons, are all located at the top of the speaker, but they are not visible on the side.

The USB port and the auxiliary input is covered with a rubber flap.  This rubber flap prevents the water from entering into it.

It’s not that great, not the best way its price for in my opinion I’ve heard better if we love the bass this is not for you in the high notes also seems to suffer a bit the mid-range is okay, but overall it’s an oaky sounding Bluetooth speaker.

The battery is also not high. It only lasts about three and a half hours before the battery dies. And if you’re planning to take this on a long trip better have it plugged in or a battery bank to keep it running.

It has an IP x7 certification, which means it can be submerged in water for about thirty minutes. The speaker is straightforward to connect and use. I paired the 1 + 5 t during the testing period, and they all have to do is switch on the power button switch on the Bluetooth and parity devices. It is super easy and super convenient.

Now that wraps up my review for this product, I’d recommend this product for its right materials and build quality but for the sound and its price, not so much.

Once you unpacked the JBL tuner, you will find the typical JBL sturdy build quality and design metal grille, the telescopic antenna hidden on the back nicely.

The most surprising feature of this speaker is a tiny but clear and bright display that is showing connectivity status, battery percentage, track name, etc. I think every speaker manufacturer should have it.

All of the buttons are placed nicely on the top. The FM’s can tune volume and also one to five FM storage buttons

The rubber feet keep the speaker from dancing even on full volume.

Nothing is perfect in this world; if I had to change some things on the table tuner FM, I would have preferred the buttons to be a little pushier and tactile, and also a USB type-c port would have been a welcome addition.

JBL needs no introduction to its sound quality.

The JBL tuner FM is a typical JBL, but in the right way, the bass is little held back when compared to other brands, but that’s the JBL signature.

In my opinion, you get a clear voice and pretty good highs. The FM also sounds good, and the reception is also pretty good even without the antenna distortion is not to be found at 100% volume.

The speaker does not dance around at all overall a perfect package from JBL with good bass and excellent sound with the addition of FM radio.

Battery life and Bluetooth range were also pretty good. It lasted for almost 8 hours at approximately 65% volume, and it took around 3 hours to charge fully.

The battery percentage is displayed when you turn on the speaker, which is a godsend, to be honest.

Even if you strip down the antenna, the FM tuner, and the small display, it’s still a damn good JBL speaker, and if I’m not wrong, it’s the only medium-sized JBL speaker you can get for under four thousand Indian currencies.

So what are my final thoughts?

Well, good sound, FM radio, excellent battery life, and a big name backing it all. The JBL tuner FM is a definite buy in my book, especially under four thousand Indian currencies.

Coming to the sound quality. It produces JBL signature sound using its dual external passive radiators. These radiators generate the base that can be heard and felt as well.
