SRS-XB01 is the most affordable Bluetooth speaker from Sony, which is available in the Indian market under three thousand rupees..
Well, it’s a Sony product. What do you expect?
Is it worth spending the extra money on Sony?
With any typical Sony products, the SRS-XB01 retails under three thousand . If you’re lucky enough, you can find it for a good deal. Well, it’s made of plastic and feels extraordinarily portable and reliable in your hand. You get the typical controls and ports on this Speaker.
On the upper side of Sony SRS-XB01, four buttons are present, which work smoothly. Out of four, one is to play and pause the music track; second is for power on and off; third is for volume up, and fourth is for volume down.
On the other hand, there is a mini USB port for charging purposes and 3.5 mm audio jack. Audio jack serves you when there is no Bluetooth connectivity available. And of course, Sony SRS-XB01 is splash resistant, which I always appreciate. You also get a lanyard, which makes it best for hanging on your backpack. Overall a very portable and well-built small speaker for your travel or your bag.
The Speaker performed a little bit better than most small speakers. The sound was clear and crisp, and they all sounded pretty clear. Speaker gets loud considering its size, and unfortunately, it dances a little bit at full volume.
The battery life of the Sony SRS-XB01 is pretty solid. I got around 5 hours at approximately 60 to 65% volume, and it took me around a very long three hours to fully charge from dead.
Now the big question is, should you go for the SRS-XB01 by Sony?
I said, yes. I love the sound quality. If you want a tiny speaker for your backpack and have the money to spend, go for the Sony SRS-XB01 else go with something else.

Zebronic is an Indian brand typically famous for the multimedia sound system. Zeb masterpiece is another portable Bluetooth speaker from Zebronic that costs around two thousand and five hundred in the Indian market.
When you unbox this speaker, you will get A Zebronic Zeb Masterpiece, A USB cable for charging, and a user manual.
Design of the speaker looks pretty attractive. This can-shaped device has some weight. You will feel that when you pick up the same. I think the size of the speaker is a little bit large. The entire body of the speaker (except two faces) is covered with a high-quality fabric that looks engaging as well as it ensures the grip.
When you put the speaker on its base, there are five control buttons present on the top. At the centre, there is power on/off switch. Around that switch four buttons, i.e., Mode, volume up/next track, volume down/previous track, and play/pause button. All buttons are embossed on the top that works smoothly.
At one side of the speaker near the bottom, you will find a USB port, micro USB port, SD card slot and 3.5mm audio jack. There is no cover to protect these ports as it’s not an IPX7 rated Bluetooth speaker.
The sound quality of the speaker is up to mark. Its bass fails to impress me, but lows and mids are working fine.
Most Bluetooth speakers have very unclear sound when it comes to FM, but Zebronic Zeb Masterpiece does an excellent job at FM sound quality. It delivers a clear sound.
Stereo mode is another plus point of the speaker. When you connect these two speakers via Bluetooth, it produces a 3D sound effect which is pretty cool.
Zebronic has claimed the battery back of 10hours at 50% volume. During my testing, it survives up to 6-7 hours.
Overall this speaker has some great features like FM, SD card support, USB connection, etc. But the main drawback of this speaker is it’s not a waterproof speaker and also it has some weight. For the indoor purpose, you can go for it.

Another budget-friendly speaker from Portronics that looks very similar in design to some more prominent brand speakers. The Portronics Breeze II is worth buying.
Portronics Breeze II is a cylindrical, sturdy and reasonably portable speaker.
The shape might be cylindrical, but it does not produce a 360-degree sound, but neither does Portronics exclaim anything like that.
Now the breeze has the usual controls with one special button call the TWS or the real wireless speaker functionality which is used to connect two breeze speakers wirelessly.
I hate that the volume control is a long press rather than a short press. The ports are covered because of the water-resistant rating. We included a lanyard though it looks like a shoelace, they could have done much better.
The breeze also features FM radio, microphone, and USB plane functionality with the included OTG cable. A pretty feature pack speaker, in my opinion.
The breeze was a pleasure to listen to loud, apparent and a busy performer. The mids and vocals sounded clear, and the instrumental sounded crisp.
The speaker does get pretty loud but doesn’t dance around at all even at the fullest volume, but i feel a little bit distorted at 100% volume.
In my honest opinion, the speaker feels more filling in a horizontal position rather than a vertical.
Surprisingly the breeze lasted for almost over 7 hours at 70% volume. This is the perfect battery life on a midsize speaker, and it took me around 3 hours and 20 minutes to fully charge from dead.
So the Portronics breeze is a good buy or just another cheap copycat in the flooded budget segment.
Well, in my honest opinion the breeze is a definite bite if you are on a budget good sound with excellent battery life, water-resistant is a good deal.

If you are looking for a Bluetooth speaker with excellent bass under three thousand, then this could be a great choice. Tagg Sonic Angle 1 is a portable Bluetooth speaker with heavy bass.
The unique design of the speaker makes him different from others.
The most significant reasons to buy this speaker are sound quality and battery backup. With the capacity of 2200 mAh, the battery survives around 8 hours at 60 % volume. This is more than enough as compared to other models in this segment.
Typical control buttons are present on its one side. It consists of five buttons-Power on/off, Volume up, volume down, Bluetooth pairing, and stereo mode. There is no play or pause button on the speaker, which is strange.
Tagg Sonic Angle 1 will not disappoint you in sound quality. If we talk about base, it’s terrific. Thanks to the passive radiator located below in downward facing. It works so actively that when you put the speaker in full volume, the speaker starts to move.
Sound clarity is another characteristic of this speaker. If we talk about mid and high range, vocals and trebles are just amazing. You will feel the difference when you listen to the songs with upper bass.
The loudness of the speaker is a little bit high even though it has 10 W output. Also, there is no distortion found even at top volume.
Tagg Sonic Angle 1 is not the fully waterproof speaker. With an IPX5 rating, it can only survive in a splash, not in deep water.
The speaker is coming with only one colour, i.e. black.
Conclusion is-
Just go for it as there are significant drawbacks in this speaker.

It’s a small portable cylindrical speaker covered by what seems like a stable and durable fabric. All the controls are placed on the top of the speaker with a place for a lanyard. I love how the logo lights up and accesses the power button.
The aux and charging port is at the bottom of the speaker, and yes it is covered with a flap making it IPX7 rated which is water-resistant.
Most products of Harman brands you can connect two speakers to get a more stereo effect.
One new feature they call it the dual equalizer, which means more bass which can be activated by holding the volume up and down buttons simultaneously or you also can access the Google Assistant and Siri by pressing the power button twice.
Overall, the Fuse 200 by infinity, is a reliable and well-proven design. Harman, as a brand has rarely disappointed in terms of performance from its brands of products.
Even being such a small size, it is sound punchy. The mids and highs were also excellent. The vocals are charming as with most Harman brands of products. The mids and vocals were always really clear with enough bass to make a Sony fanboy happy.
If you do want that extra bass of Sony’s then definitely enable the deep bass, and yes it does make a difference. Unfortunately, the speaker dances around, but only when the deep bass is on. Overall the Fuze 200 by infinity is an outstanding balance of performance to price.
The fuse 200 lasted for a pretty good 8 hours at approximately 65 % volume and took me around 3 hours to fully charge from dead.
So the big question is, did Harman win the budget segment of the audience with a new infinity’s brand of speakers?
In my personal opinion, they did for a price of around two thousand and five hundred rupees. It is a great speaker perfect battery life pretty reliable performance with the Harman signature sound, and also you get water resistance feature.

Among all Bluetooth speakers, this speaker stands apart because of its antique design and shockproof feature. If you look at this speaker, it has a very sophisticated design as compared to others. The body of this speaker is packed so tightly that it can survive even if it falls on the ground from 5-7 feet.
With a speaker, you get two cables. One is for charging and another for connecting the speaker if there is no Bluetooth connection available.
The rectangular-shaped Bluetooth speaker has a mounting jack at the bottom side so that you can mount it anywhere. At the top, you will find a few controlling buttons like power on/off, play/pause, volume up and down, etc. On the right-hand side, there is a micro USB port and audio jack.
Two speakers of 5W RMS will blow your mind with its sound quality. If you love the loud music that has some bass, then it could be a great choice.
Lows and mids are also good enough. Don’t go for full volume as there can be distortion. Also, at high volume, the speaker moves here and there, so be careful about its placement.
Let’s move towards its significant feature i.e., Shockproof. The outer body is made up of Silicone material. If the speaker falls from 5-7 feet, it will still work. And trust me, it works. This is something unique and very essential too.
An IPX6 rating is also there to save your speaker from water.
So, the conclusion-
This speaker is specially made for those who are careless about their gadgets. Envent LiveFree 530 is packed with all essential features, so there is no reason not to buy. You can reject this speaker only if you are a fan of a well-reputed brand like JBL, Sony, etc.
