Well, it’s a Sony product. What do you expect? is it worth spending the extra money on Sony?

With any typical products, the Sony  SRS XB 01 retails for around two thousand Indian currency. If you’re lucky enough, you can find it for a good deal.

Well, it’s made of plastic and feels extraordinarily portable and reliable in your hand.

You get the typical controls and ports on this Speaker. On the upper side of SRS-XB01, four buttons are present, which work smoothly. Out of four, one is to play and pause the music track; second is for power on and off; third is for volume up, and fourth is for volume down.

On the other hand, there is a mini USB port for charging purposes and 3.5 mm audio jack. Audio jack serves you when there is no Bluetooth connectivity available.

And of course, the Speaker is splash resistant, which I always appreciate.

You also get a lanyard, which makes it best for hanging on your backpack. Overall a very portable and well-built small speaker for your travel or your bag.

The Speaker performed a little bit better than most small speakers. The sound was clear and crisp, and they all sounded pretty clear.

Speaker gets loud considering its size, and unfortunately, it dances a little bit at full volume.

The battery life of the SRS-XB01 is not up to mark. I got around 5 hours at approximately 50 to 60% volume, and it took me around a very long three hours to fully charge from dead.

Now the big question is, should you go for the SRS-XB01 by Sony?

I said, yes. I love the sound quality. If you want a tiny speaker for your backpack and have the money to spend, go for the Sony SRS-XB01 else go with something else.
