JBL Go is one of the smallest Bluetooth speakers that we have seen, and also, one of the most inexpensive is retaining under two thousand rupees online.

Inside The Box

The small box comes with a charging cable. There is also USB to micro-USB ports, so in case you lose this cable accidentally, you can use any standard charging cable for charging this.  A quick Start Guide user manual is there to guide you details.

Build Quality

JBL Go is very compact and lightweight, which looks very lovely and has an adorable rubber finish mesh, including finish upfront with JBL branding and a solid finish. All rubberized finish acts as the anti-slip.

On the right-hand side, you have the auxiliary input charging port and the small pinhole, which is probably for resetting it. You also have volume controls, a power on/off key, a Bluetooth pairing button, and a phone button to accept or reject calls in case there is a call.

There is also an LED that is at the front, which indicates whether it is in pairing mode or connected mode etc.

Another side you have a groove to hold it, or you know you put a loop through it.

Battery Backup

Coming to the Battery, JBL Go comes with Lithium-Ion polymer having a capacity of 600 mAh. JBL claims that this portable device has a backup of 5 Hrs. At the 50 to 70% volume level, you can easily get 5 hours backup. Also, it takes up to 2 hours to get fully charged from 0 to 100%.

Connectivity

To pair JBL Go, you need to long-press the Bluetooth icon, and it will blink faster, which means that it is now in pairing mode. On your phone, scan for Bluetooth devices nearby. Hit the JBL Go option that solid blue line indicates the same.  It has intense bass. It is very good for its size as well as the price. For two thousand rupees, you get something which is this compact and sounds very well. It comes with only one driver that is three-watt, but it is super.

Sound Quality

When it comes to bass, it is a room-filling sound. So if you’re using it for a small room, you don’t need anything else for the party. You have a small speaker that you can easily carry around in your bag. Tie it with a loop with your bag, and you always have it with you.

The only drawback is, this is not a waterproof or water resistance speaker.

Final Words

If you want a portable speaker with minimum expectations, JBL Go is the best option. JBL Go will fulfill your dream of having a Bluetooth speaker. Getting a JBL Bluetooth speaker at only under two thousand rupees is a big deal. Don’t think much, go and get that.

Claps for Clip!

JBL Clip 3 deserves claps for being such an all-rounder Bluetooth speaker. I am a big fan of JBL, but it doesn’t mean I am promoting this little stuff, but I am damn sure that if you use this Clip, you will fall in love with it for sure.

JBL Clip 3 is an upgraded version of JBL Clip 2, but there are a lot of changes that take place. e.g., design, portability, sound quality, battery backup, etc.

Inside The Box

Inside the box, you get a mini USB cable, user manual, warranty card. It does not include the 3.5-millimeter cable as the clip 2 has.

Build Quality

When it comes to physical appearance, It’s a little bit bigger than the actual clip to its predecessor. I think it weighs a little bit more. Clip 3 is a little bit heavier than the Clip 2, but it’s still pretty damn light for what it is, JBL claims. The whole front side is covered with a fabric grille, which looks very attractive.

If you look at the back, it has a JBL logo of rubberized material. This material ensures the grip on the ground. On the side, there are Bluetooth and power buttons. On the front, you have your plus/minus volume and your playback button. On the other hand, there is a rubber flap under which a mini USB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack are present.

It has the more rounded clip, which I kind of like a better built-in carabiner, so this is pretty great. You can see it wraps around the frame. It acts as a bumper along with all this rubber around it.

Sound Quality

The sound that comes out of the JBL Clip 3 is pretty amazing. The bass is pretty good and a little bit better than the clip two.

The strength of this speaker is it’s vocals. Mid-range speakers are probably known for vocal quality and not for extra bass. And trust me, JBL Clip 3 has terrific vocals that you won’t miss. It delivers punchy sound but not that much high quality, but it’s enough for a mid-budget speaker. Apart from this, the treble of this speaker also has clarity.

Battery Perfomance

JBL Clip 3 coming with 1000 mAh battery. They have claimed the battery backup of 10 hours, but in actual use, it lasts up to 6 hours for around 60% volume. If you want to run long, you need to reduce the amount to 50%. Also, the charging time is right. 3 hours are sufficient to charge this device.

Others

It does have an integrated speakerphone, so if you do have JBL Clip 3 connected to your Bluetooth on your phone and you get a phone call, you can take the phone call and talk and hear.

In case you are at the lake or pool, and you have this right by the water, and it accidentally drops in, well, they claim IPX7 waterproof so that you can drop it into 3 feet of water for 30 minutes. It will still work.

Final Words

So the final words on JBL Clip3 is If your budget is under two thousand and five hundred, and need a speaker for decent use like indoor and sometimes for trekking purpose, go for this. Believe me; it will not disappoint you in all manner.
