boAt Spinx 2.0 Review-

Coming with the rugged cylindrical and ergonomic design, SpinX 2.0 is one the best selling products from boAt available in the market around 2k budget. This bluetooth speaker consists of almost all the essential features of an ideal speaker like IPX6 rating, 3.5mm audio jack, SD card slot, good battery, dual passive radiator, etc.

Inside the Box

The speaker arrives in very compact but secure packing. When you open the box, you will find the Bluetooth speaker placed in a durable plastic case. Below the case, you will find all essential documents like warranty card, charging cable, and audio cable. Audio cable helps you to play songs via Bluetooth speaker if your phone doesn’t have inbuilt Bluetooth.

Design and Physical Appearance

The boAt has done an excellent job in the design section, and this speaker won’t disappoint you. The speaker has some weight and looks very premium in hand. The ABS & Fabric grill is present all over the speaker except two sides, where passive radiators are present.

There are four control buttons present on the front side- power button, volume down, play/pause, and volume up button. At the backside of the speaker, there is a provision for a strap.

The mounting hole is there so that you can mount it on your bicycle or mount it on a tripod stand. Near this hole, there is a rubber flap under which ports are present. These ports consist of a charging port, a 3.5 mm audio port, and an SD card port.

Having an SD card port is a significant advantage as you can play songs without connecting your device. a 40mm 6 watts passive radiator is present on each side of the speaker, which delivers a total output of 12w with 360 degrees sound effect.

Sound Quality

When it comes to sound quality, its cylindrical design delivers 360 degrees of sound effortlessly, and you will hear the same sound in the room. It’s 12-watt stereo speakers give enough output that can fill the small room. It’s got a balanced sound. It’s all the instruments, the vocals are all portable, and none of them are muffled.

The highs, the vocals are not over sharpening, so they are not hurting you. But, being a 12-watt speaker, it didn’t sound as loud as you think. I don’t mean that this speaker is not loud, but somewhere it fails to impress me in terms of loudness.

The base is also up to mark, and an average user can enjoy it without any complaint. When you connect two spinX 2.0 bluetooth speakers, it gives an impressive stereo effect. Also, their loudness can create a party atmosphere.

Battery Backup

The spinX 2.0 is armed with a 2000 mAh battery, which can play music 6-7 hours non stop at the medium level. If you love to enjoy the music at a low volume, you can get up to 10 hours of battery backup. It takes 3 hours to get fully charged.

Others

The speaker is rated with an IPX6 rating, which means it is water resistance. It can survive in water splash but does not deep into the water.

True Wireless Stereo i.e., TWS feature is working effortlessly. With this feature’s help, you can connect another SpinX 2.0 speaker to get the stereo effect.

Final Words

So, boAt SpinX 2.0 is a primary bluetooth speaker available at affordable prices. Although this speaker has low loudness, it is still worth buying as it falls below the 2k INR budget. If your budget is around 2k INR and needs a decent speaker to listen to some songs, Youtube, etc., you can consider this speaker.

boAt Rugby review

Are you looking for a Bluetooth speaker with an out-of-board design with decent performance at an affordable price, boAt Rugby 10W speaker is the answer.

Here is the boAt Rugby Review :

The speaker is available around one thousand and five hundred Indian rupees, and you will have almost all decent features. The boat rugby is made of a rubber material hugging the metal grille on both sides which hides two drivers, a passive radiator, and a LED indicator.

The rubber is supposed to be not glued-like; nevertheless, it’s sturdy, well-built, and has no flex.  The speaker itself is not really big, and it’s pretty portable.

The top of the speaker features the power button, volume up & down, a multi-function Bluetooth answer/decline, and a play/pause button.

On one side of the speaker, you can find the micro USB charging port and auxiliary port. There is no protection flap to cover this port. Hence you need to take some extra care to secure these ports from dust and water too.

Talking about the cables, boAt rugby is bundled with a short charging cable and an auxiliary cable, which I always appreciate.

The speaker has an inbuilt Microphone to make calls. You can receive or reject the calls from this speaker. Call clarity is also up to mark.

Pairing is simple, as always. Turn ON the Bluetooth speaker, and it goes automatically into a pairing mode, and the fast blinking blue LED turns into a slow blinking blue LED with the vocal confirmation.

The speaker is not waterproof or water-resistant. So, it’s not an outdoor speaker, and you can not listen to music in the bathroom.

When it comes to sound quality, I was pretty impressed by its performance. The bass was excellent; it’s pleasant to hear without overpowering. The mids and highs were good without being too sharp. Instrumentals also sounded good.

Unfortunately, the boAt Rugby doesn’t get loud even at 60 percent volume, which was shocking considering it has a 10 watt output. I had almost to crank up the volume to 80%. It gets loud at 100%, but all the speakers I’ve tested thus far were very listenable at just 50 to 60% of the volume on my phone and speaker. The speaker doesn’t disturb that much at the highest volume, which is really lovely. Maybe it’s because of the low volume I don’t know overall it’s an excellent sounding speaker for the price.

The Bluetooth range was also good, doing my usual test of leaving the speaker in my bedroom and walking around my house so it didn’t lose connection. But when I try to take it to my car parking, it lost contact, but that’s pretty normal without direct line-of-sight.

On the boAt Rugby is nothing except it works as it’s claimed as always. With most Bluetooth speakers, there is no way to tell the exact battery life. The company claims around 8 hours of battery life, and in my testing, at 55 percent volume, I got an extra hour than what was claimed before it finally died. The speaker from the dead to full takes around 3 hours, and the red LED indicator will turn off once charged. You can use the speaker while it’s charging.

Overall, BoAt Rugby is a decent Bluetooth speaker with a unique design.

If you want a speaker that has excellent battery life, sound quality and doesn’t mind a little bigger size or a unique design, go with the boAt Rugby you’ll love.

boat stone 1400 review
  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker
  • 1 Type-C Cable
  • 1 Aux Cable
  • 1 Waranty Card

boAt Stone 1400 is an unexpected guy from the series Stone. If you see their previous models like Stone 190, Stone 650, Stone 260, etc., they are just primary Bluetooth speakers like normal. But this monster is complete out of box product. I am also shocked when they release this Bluetooth speaker.

Inside The Box

boAt Stone 1400 arrives in a large box. The box consists of a lot of protection foam that secures the Bluetooth speaker. It includes a Bluetooth speaker, USB type-c charging cable, Aux cable, some instruction manual and, a warranty card. The way they pack this speaker is awe-inspiring.

Design and Build Quality

When you look at the speaker, it gives you a premium feel. The speaker seems very sturdy and has some weight. The whole speaker is made up of high-quality plastic except the front grill, which is made of metal. At the front side, you will get a metal grill on which a boAt logo is present.

Underneath the grill, there are two 10 W built-in massive subwoofers and two 5 W twitters present. It means it gives you a 30-watt powerful output. On top of the speaker, you get a strong, durable, flat adjustable strap. Also, there is a microphone, five control buttons and LED indicators are available. The buttons consist of a power on/off, volume down, play/pause, volume up, and an indoor/outdoor mode button.

Two passive bass radiators are present on the left and right sides of the speaker. Three ports i.e., type-c port, aux port, and USB port, are present at the backside, covered under a rubber flap. Overall, the speaker seems premium.

Sound Quality

If we talk about sound quality, it is brilliant. In terms of the highs, this handles the highs like a boss. If you heard this speaker up to 90% volume, nothing was tampered with, and the highs never crack. But after a 90% volume level, it feels a little bit distorted. Vocals are rich, smooth, wholesome, and sound so good and so pleasant. You know it’s such an enjoyable experience to listen to vocals.

As soon as you go to the outdoor mode, it amplifies all three frequencies about 20 to 30%, so highs amplify their sounds even sharper, the vocals get even more explicit, and the bass gets a bit punchier.

But I think in the outdoor mode, it mainly caters to the highs & mids, and the bass is unaffected. So it’s like it was in the indoor mode. I would suggest unless you have a huge hall where you have to get the sound across the back of the room, leave an indoor mode, and you’ll have the best audio experience. But if you need to really rock the house, go for outdoor mode.

Battery Performance

This speaker has a battery having 2500 mAh capacity. The boAt has claimed 7 hours battery backup, but at the volume of 70%, it can survive up to 5 hours. I think this speaker deserves more than 5000 mAh battery so that we can enjoy this monster for a long time.

Others

The speaker is water-resistant, and you can enjoy it in the bathroom and even in light rain too.

Call quality is up to mark, and you can hear a clear voice on both sides.

The only disappointment with the speaker is its sound quality via aux cable connection. The sound quality via aux cable connection is poor, and it will disappoint you.

Conclusion:

So the question is, is it worth spending around five to six thousand on this beast?

I would say a big YES.

See, this speaker satisfies you in all manner. If you go for the same specifications in JBL or Sony, you will not get the same deal in this budget. The speaker is genuinely made for bass lovers. Don’t think much if you need a real monster to enjoy bass- riched songs.

boAt Stone 260 Portable Bluetooth Speakers Review
  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker
  • 1 Charging Cable
  • 1 User Manual
  • 1 Waranty Card

The boAt Stone 260 is a rugged Bluetooth speaker with unique fabric design.

It is retailing for around thousand and four hundred, but if you keep an eye out, you can get it for about thousand and hundred on Amazon.

Inside the box, you will get a Bluetooth speaker, A micro USB charging cable, a warranty card, and a user manual.

The boat Stone 260 is made of rubberized material on the back, which makes it kind of shockproof, and also, the speaker is IPX5, which is nothing but water-resistant.

The front side is made of a fabric with some excellent music-related designs on it. Personally, in a boring world of the ugly old speaker grille, I really like this design. You get the usual multifunction controls like play, pause, volume, etc. on the speaker’s side.

Now I do wish the buttons were a little more raised but not a deal-breaker. Since the speaker is water-resistant, the micro USB charging port is covered with a rubber flap. Unfortunately, there is no aux input. The design is good, and it is circular, small, decent, lightweight, and really portable.

You will be impressed with its performance. It’s not going to be mind-blowing, but it’s perfect for its price. It’s a very bass-heavy speaker. The base is right; don’t get me wrong, but to be honest, it was too tight for my taste. Vocals, mids, and everything were excellent.

The one thing that I hate about the Stone 260 is loudness. It doesn’t get loud even at 60% volume. I had to crank it up to almost 80% or sometimes even 100%; otherwise, I wasn’t able to hear anything.

Now I am not sure if I got a bad unit, or this is how it’s designed to sound, though the speaker doesn’t dance around a lot at 100% volume and has very little to no Distortion. Overall for the price, this is a good performing speaker with good enough bass for its size. I wish the loudness at lower volumes were much better.

Fortunately, you do get the typical Bluetooth range of most speakers with some occasional choppiness.

Being a small speaker, it consists of 1000 mAh. I didn’t have high hopes for the battery backup, but I got a pretty good 7 hours and 15 minutes of playback at around 65 percent volume and took me about 2 hours to fully charge from dead.

Now, there is an annoying thing I need to mention if the speaker is turned ON and not connected to any phone then it turns off within like two to three minutes, which becomes pretty annoying at times.

When I order boat Stone 260, I ordered it just for the looks. Still, it turned out to be a pretty good performing speaker: excellent design, good build, quality of the microphone, water-resistant, shock-resistant, and pretty good battery life.

If you are looking for a water-resistant speaker with a budget of thousand and three hundred, I recommend the boat stone 260.

SRS XB 402M is the unique Bluetooth speaker having built-in Alexa and a decent battery back up.

When you open the box, you get a safety and warranty sheets, quick start guide, original power cords, and the XB 402M speaker.

The design of the speaker looks very sturdy and durable. It has a nicely woven fabric all over the front side of the speaker. The speaker comes with built-in multi-colored line light and a flashing strobe, which adds a distinctive look.

When you power ON the speaker, these RGB lights illuminate very gently, and add more attraction. The primary control buttons are present on the top side of the speaker. These buttons are very clicky and have a rubbery feel.

Control buttons consist of a power on/off, pairing, volume up/down button, etc. there is a microphone mute button for preventing Alexa from getting triggered.

Surprisingly, this speaker has 53 mm angled dynamic speaker units that provide powerful sound pressure across a full area. You will love how the speaker separates the left and right channels, which gives an impressive stereo effect.

If we are talking about the base, it’s excellent and nicely controlled. The lows and mids sound natural. The vocals were clean and clear and drove to the front. The high beats were not too harsh to the ears.

Another improvement from Sony is Live Mode. The live effect is more pleasant on the music, and it doesn’t affect the vocals that much.

The Sony claims about 12 hours of battery life, and you can get about 9 hours playback time with the extra base mode turned ON. Just keep in mind that the battery backup depends on the volume, type of content you played, and lighting condition.

This speaker is rated IPX7, i.e., dust and waterproof.

Overall, the speaker is an excellent choice for those who don’t wanna use Alexa separately.

The JBL Xtreme 2 is the 40 Watt premium Bluetooth speaker with the incredible build and sound quality.

The JBL Xtreme 2 is a premium Bluetooth speaker, and its packaging also looks premium. The box comes with a power adapter, charging cable, connecting belt, and some documents.

The speaker looks exceptionally durable, having a sturdy look. Its high-quality fabric grille and rugged rubber housing ensure the speaker lasts long.

At the top, two hooks are there to hang the speaker with the help of a belt. Between these two hooks, there are six buttons present. It consists of a power on/off, Bluetooth pairing, JBL connects, volume up, volume down, and play/pause button.

A USB port, charging port and audio port is present under the tight rubber flap below the speaker.

If we talk about sound quality, JBL Xtreme 2 leaves every other competition behind by miles.

The highs and the mids are a little bit different because it has the base on each side of the speaker, and all the mid and the high frequencies come out of the front.

The sound quality is fantastic, so the sides do deliver a massive low-end frequency range.

The power of this speaker, considering it is a portable speaker is incredible.

The highs are crisp; the mid-range frequencies are apparent, and the bass is really heavy.

Another surprise from the JBL is its battery back up. The massive 10,000 mAH battery lasts too long and gives the back up of 15 hours at the medium volume level.

The speaker’s call quality is excellent, and you can hear the clear voice from both ends.

So, the speaker is for those who love the monster sound and a real fan of JBL’s legendary sound.

Ultimate Ear MegaBoom is one of those speakers who is competing with well-reputed brands like JBL, Sony, etc., and believe me, this speaker giving a tough fight.

UE MegaBoom is a feature-packed Bluetooth speaker having 360 degrees sound, 100 feet Bluetooth connectivity, and long-lasting battery backup

The great thing is you don’t have to worry about it breaking as it is IPX7 rated meaning it is water and shock-resistant

In terms of connectivity, you do have a 3.5-millimetre jack, but I’m sure most people will be using it via wireless Bluetooth or NFC.

A 3-hour full charge you can get up to 15 hours of music listening which is something that I’ve never seen on any other Bluetooth speaker before.

Additionally, you can also connect two of these speakers to play at the same time.  connect up to eight Bluetooth devices and have two players simultaneously.

There are the plus and minus volume switches on one face of the speaker. They are very large and always easy to access, wrapping around the side of the speaker. The mesh material not only looks great but it seems to be very easy to clean stuff off as well

The Bluetooth range is also said to be at one hundred feet and will be able to get near that as well.

The sound quality on the UE boom was impressive, and it’s definitely one of my favourite speakers if not the favourite that I have ever tried out. It is not only mighty, but it delivers a clear sound with its dual two-inch drivers, and it has a pretty good bass as well.

So, if you are tired of using JBL, Sony speakers and want to spend on other brands, then you can go for it. This speaker is truly amazing and gives you the same performance.

The Soundlink Mini 2 is built like a tank. The outer part of this speaker houses aluminum casing, which is heavy considering its small size, but it feels so much premium when you pick it up.

On the top, you will find all the speaker controls, including the power button, volume button, and multifunction button. The unique feature of the speaker is, it has a charging cradle. With the help of a cradle, you can charge the device wirelessly.

This speaker also features a microphone so that you can pick up the incoming calls.

If we talk about sound, in a nutshell, it sounds fantastic. It has a very balanced sound coupled with impressive bass makes the overall music experience so much better. It outputs a vibrant bass, which is very surprising considering its small size.

There are many details as the sound is crisp, and it is amazingly loud for such a small device.  The bass reproduction is the most impressive part of the device. They are so deep and powerful that almost every other portable speaker will sound mediocre compared to this one.

An excellent feature of the speaker is to be able to be connected at two devices at once.

Bose has claimed the battery 10 hours of battery back up, but at the medium volume level, i.e., 60%, you will get 7-8 hours.

Please note that the speaker is not water-resistant or waterproof, so this is not for you if you need a speaker for some outdoor activities like trekking, or pool parties.

So, the Soundlink mini 2 is a premium looking and sounding Bluetooth speaker. If you have a budget of 15 thousand rupees and looking for the best-sounding good speaker, you can’t go wrong with this one.

In every industry, there is one company that is always trying to do some experiments. The boAt is one of those who are still there to change their designs and features of their Bluetooth speaker continuously.

The boAt Stone 650 is the speaker with an antique muscular shape packed with great features at affordable prices.

Inside The Box

The boAt Stone 650 comes with a typical box that consists of a speaker itself, user manual, warranty card, a 3.5 audio cable. You can use this audio cable to connect the non-Bluetooth devices.

Design And Build Quality

The design of the speaker looks very sturdy and has some weight. The speaker has a dotted diamond-shaped mesh. The left hand and the right-hand side has a smooth silicon-coated finish.

If you look at the front side, there is a logo of boAt. Also, a microphone and LED indicator are present at the side edges of the front side. You will find all other functions on the right-hand side of the speaker.

Typical control buttons are present on one side. It has volume up, volume down, power on/off, play/pause, forward, backward buttons. All buttons work excellently well.

On the backside, there is a rubber flap. Inside the flap, three ports are present i.e., charging port, a micro SD card, and audio port. Surprisingly, the boAt stone 650 comes with an audio cable. This cable served as a connection between the speaker and the non-Bluetooth device.

The speaker has two passive bass radiators with a capacity of 5 W each.  The overall design looks robust.

Sound Quality

The Stone 360 sounds really good. The base is more refined and profound, and not blasting just for the sake of being booming. The vocals and mids are as same as any typical same range speaker.

If we are talking about its highs, it’s not that loud. Also, the speaker gets distorted after 90% volume. If you want to listen to some classical hits or something like instrumentals, the speaker works perfectly fine.

This speaker is perfect for indoor usage for a small and medium-sized room. You can enjoy Youtube movies too.

Battery Performance

The battery of boAt Stone 650 does an excellent job for such a low priced speaker. The battery capacity of the speaker is 1800 mAh.

If you play the songs at the volume of 60-70%, you will easily get 7 hours battery backup. Again, the battery performance depends on the quality of content that you are playing on Bluetooth speakers.

Charging the battery fully takes nearly 3 hours using any 5W or 10W charger.

Others

The boAT Stone 650 comes with an IPX5 rating. IPX5 rating ensures the speaker performs in a splash of water. You can use this speaker in the rain or in the bathroom—don’t deep the speaker in the pool for a long time.

When you use the audio cable instead of the Bluetooth connection, there is a noise that appears continuously from the speaker, which is irritating.

But don’t worry about the noise as it will disappear after you play a song. I think this is not a big deal as most of us use the speaker by using a Bluetooth connection.

The only disappointment with the speaker is its Bluetooth range. Generally, all Bluetooth speakers have 10m Bluetooth range, but this speaker starts to lose its connectivity before you reach 10m distance. If you put the speaker near the phone, there is no problem at all.

Final Words

Overall, the boAt Stone 650 is an affordable speaker that is available around two thousand rupees. The speaker has excellent build quality, water resistance feature, SD card support, etc. If you need a speaker for just home entertainment, go for it.

boAt Stone 190 is the affordable, waterproof, lightweight, portable, and durable Bluetooth speaker.

Inside The Box

When you unbox the boAt Stone 190 Bluetooth speaker, you will get the speaker itself, charging cable,  user manual, and warranty card. All stuff keeps neatly in the box.

Design And Build Quality

Outstanding!

The boAt Stone 190 has a sturdy design with a matt finish look that attracts everyone’s eyes. At the front of the speaker, you will get a premium mesh design. Also, there are three buttons present on the mesh.

The buttons consist of a volume up, volume down, and play/pause button. An LED is present just below the play/pause button, which is served as an indicator for various operations.

The other two buttons are grooved on one side of the speaker. These two buttons are for power on/off and mode selection. All buttons are tactile and do their job effortlessly.

A rubber flap is present at another side of the speaker. Inside the rubber flap, two ports are present. i.e., one is a micro USB charging port, and another is a 3.5mm audio jack. If your device is not compatible with Bluetooth, then you can connect your device to Bluetooth speaker via cable. Apart from it, you get a hand strap to hang the speaker.

The speaker is exceptionally lightweight, weighing 150 grams. The size of the speaker is also small, and you can hold it in your palm comfortably.

The overall design of the speaker looks sturdy and well finished.

Sound Quality

The speaker’s sound quality is up to mark, and it does an excellent job if you consider its price.

The speaker has a 52mm driver that offers an immersive audio experience. A 5W output speaker draws sufficient audio to fill a small room.

If we talk about the lows and mids, it’s naturally balanced. Highs seem to be unclear, and the speaker gets distorted at high volume.

The base is a little bit low, but it’s a low budget speaker, and you can not expect a large base at this price. The loudness of such a small speaker is impressive, and you won’t believe that the speaker’s sound comes.

Hence the speaker is perfect for one room entertainment like watching movies, listening to music, performing some gym exercises, etc.

Battery Performance

The battery capacity of boAt Stone 190 is 800 mAH. The boAt has claimed the battery backup of 4 hours, and you will back up at 60-70% percentage.

The speaker gets fully charged within two hours, from zero to a hundred percent. I think the battery should perform at least 5 hours at a medium level.

Others

The speaker is coming with an IPX7 rating. An IPX7 rating protects your Bluetooth speaker from splash, rain, etc. Hence you can enjoy music in the bathroom, and in the rain too.

Another great feature of the speaker is TWS. TWS stands for True Wireless Stereo, which allows you to connect two boAt Stone 190 speakers. When you connect in TWS, one speaker acts as left, and another acts as a right-hand side speaker. Now you can enjoy the stereo effect.

The speaker is compatible with Bluetooth 5.0. This is a massive thing. Even most of the high priced Bluetooth speakers are using the 4.2 version.

Final Words

So, should we go for it?

I will say YES.

The boAt Stone 190 has several features like IPX7 rating, TWS, Bluetooth 5.0, etc. And believe me, you will not find such features at a meager price.

Hence, if you need a speaker for indoor usage with decent sound, this is the best option.

boAt Stone 170 is a portable Bluetooth speaker which is available at an affordable price. The speaker is packed with several features like micro SD card support, decent battery back up, sturdy design, etc.

Inside The Box

When you unbox the boAt Stone 170, you will find a lot of stuff inside. First of all, you will get a Bluetooth speaker.

Two cables come in the box. One is a charging cable, and another is aux cable. If your device has no Bluetooth option, then you can connect it via cable. The speaker is covered in plastic.

Apart from this, you will get some instruction manual and warranty card.

Design And Build Quality

The speaker looks very portable, and you can hold it in one hand. The shape of the speaker is unique and not like conventional Bluetooth speakers.

High-quality fabric is wrapped around the speaker that makes the speaker sturdy and durable. The top and the bottom face edges are made up of durable plastic and faces have rubber-like material. A rubber ring present at the bottom to hold the speaker steady while playing extra bass songs.

The speaker comes with four operating buttons that are present at the top side. These buttons include a multifunction button, volume, up & down button, and connectivity button.

Also, there is a small hole near the buttons, which is for the microphone. A small LED indicator gives you a notification about battery level warning, pairing status, etc.

There is a rubber flap under which charging port, SD card port, and aux port are available. Overall, the speaker looks well finished and long-lasting.

A hand strap is present to hang the speaker where you want.

Sound Quality

The speaker has a 5w output, and it is loud enough to fill a small room. The lows and mids are crisp and clear. The sound gets distorted at the volume of more than 90%, but it’s not a big deal as it is a meager budget Bluetooth speaker.

The speaker has a lack of base as it comes with a single 5W speaker. If you want to enjoy the stereo effect, you can connect another Stone 170 speaker.

The stereo effect gives left and right-hand side sound effects, and you will really appreciate it. The speaker has a decent output and will be an excellent option for those who are not a fan of extra bass.

Battery Performance

Coming with 1800 mAh capacity, the boAt Stone 170 speaker lasts up to 5 hours at the volume level of 60%. The backup time may vary from user to user as many factors affect it like volume level, music type, etc. It takes 2.5 hours to get fully charged.

Others

The speaker is IpX6 rated, which means it can survive in the rain. You can not get deep into the water as it is a water-resistant speaker.

The most exciting part of the speaker is it has micro SD card support, and you can enjoy the song by inserting a card directly.

The speaker’s call quality is also up to mark, and you can hear a clear voice from both ends.

The only drawback I found in the speaker is its Bluetooth range. The speaker tends the lose its connectivity even after 15 feet.

Final Words

So, is it worth spending near one thousand rupees on a boAt Stone 170 speaker?

My answer is YES.

The speaker is providing a lot of features in such a small amount. A durable design, good battery backup, SD card support in just around one thousand rupees is a great deal. And the most important is you will get a speaker form a well-reputed brand, i.e., boAt. If you are ready to spend one thousand rupees for the speaker, then go for it.
