The boat Airdope arrives in the solid cardboard box which has some features of the earphones on the side and back.

Once you open the box, you get the Airdopes 441 with its charging case. You also get 3 extra pairs of different sized ear tips, an extra pair of ear hooks, a short type-c charging cable, a warranty card, and a user manual is present as well.

The case is made of matte plastic finish. They are pocket friendly and weigh just 50 grams including the earphones. You have to open the top lid to see the buds placed inside the charging ports. These cases have a magnetic lock in place so unlike other buds, you just need to place the buds and it will lock in place.

This case is very modern and comes with a type C port at the back which will allow you to charge the case. It has a rather smaller 500 MHz lithium-ion battery in-built and charges in close to 1.5 to 2 hours from zero.

Both earphones have 43 mAh lithium-ion batteries on each which gives you a playtime of about 3 to 3.5 hours give or take on each charge and a total of 4 charges using the case. So about 14 hours of music in total you will get from this whole charging case.

On the buds, you also get a charging indicator for both the case and the buds. As soon as you close the lid, the buds go into charging mode. The buds are also completely plastic and they have a great elegant design.

The fit is perfect and doesn’t pop out with even the strongest of movement. The passive noise cancellation is also awesome.

boAt Airdopes come with the latest Bluetooth V5.0 which means more battery, more range, and better transmission quality. Connectivity is pretty simple. First, you need to open the charging case lid and both buds will pair to each other and one will start blinking. Now, this is called IWP or Insta Wake N’ Pair and on your phone, connect to the Airdopes 441.

You can also use each bud separately on two different devices as a mono unit for driving or taking calls or listening to music. This is a cool feature that most of the other earphones don’t have. The drivers on each are a 6-millimeter and the audio quality is pretty good at the price offered.

These are clearly bass-heavy buds and the audio is immersive; thanks to the snug fit. The passive noise isolation is great and sound separation is also decent. The mids and highs are okay and for such small buds.

It provides you an awesome comfort for long hours as they are pretty lightweight at just 10 grams hence, you won’t feel any strain.

They also come with an inbuilt microphone. Unlike most other earphones, when you make a call, you will hear on both the left and right.

Most importantly these are rated IPX6 waterproof which means no problem in rain and sweat just don’t go swimming though. The interesting part is that they come with capacitive touch controls on each side of the earphones. Double-tap to change songs, single tap to answer the calls, tap and hold for voice commands, and so on.

The only thing that is missing is volume controls are not present and it can be controlled on the phone.

There are a few drawbacks like these buttons are very sensitive and even a small tap is noticed and it works. And also these are bass-heavy buds, so if you are an all-round music fan it might not be for you.
