Coming with the rugged cylindrical and ergonomic design, SpinX 2.0 is one the best selling products from boAt available in the market around 2k budget. This bluetooth speaker consists of almost all the essential features of an ideal speaker like IPX6 rating, 3.5mm audio jack, SD card slot, good battery, dual passive radiator, etc.

Inside the Box

The speaker arrives in very compact but secure packing. When you open the box, you will find the Bluetooth speaker placed in a durable plastic case. Below the case, you will find all essential documents like warranty card, charging cable, and audio cable. Audio cable helps you to play songs via Bluetooth speaker if your phone doesn’t have inbuilt Bluetooth.

Design and Physical Appearance

The boAt has done an excellent job in the design section, and this speaker won’t disappoint you. The speaker has some weight and looks very premium in hand. The ABS & Fabric grill is present all over the speaker except two sides, where passive radiators are present.

There are four control buttons present on the front side- power button, volume down, play/pause, and volume up button. At the backside of the speaker, there is a provision for a strap.

The mounting hole is there so that you can mount it on your bicycle or mount it on a tripod stand. Near this hole, there is a rubber flap under which ports are present. These ports consist of a charging port, a 3.5 mm audio port, and an SD card port.

Having an SD card port is a significant advantage as you can play songs without connecting your device. a 40mm 6 watts passive radiator is present on each side of the speaker, which delivers a total output of 12w with 360 degrees sound effect.

Sound Quality

When it comes to sound quality, its cylindrical design delivers 360 degrees of sound effortlessly, and you will hear the same sound in the room. It’s 12-watt stereo speakers give enough output that can fill the small room. It’s got a balanced sound. It’s all the instruments, the vocals are all portable, and none of them are muffled.

The highs, the vocals are not over sharpening, so they are not hurting you. But, being a 12-watt speaker, it didn’t sound as loud as you think. I don’t mean that this speaker is not loud, but somewhere it fails to impress me in terms of loudness.

The base is also up to mark, and an average user can enjoy it without any complaint. When you connect two spinX 2.0 bluetooth speakers, it gives an impressive stereo effect. Also, their loudness can create a party atmosphere.

Battery Backup

The spinX 2.0 is armed with a 2000 mAh battery, which can play music 6-7 hours non stop at the medium level. If you love to enjoy the music at a low volume, you can get up to 10 hours of battery backup. It takes 3 hours to get fully charged.

Others

The speaker is rated with an IPX6 rating, which means it is water resistance. It can survive in water splash but does not deep into the water.
