  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker

This is the 1st speaker under the list of best bluetooth speakers under 2000 INR and the reason is its all rounder performance. The design and build of Fuze 100 are excellent, it looks like a more expensive product. The mesh surrounding it has a lovely feeling to it, and the rubberized top and bottom also feel perfect for touching.

On top, you have the point of attaching a strap so that you can hang it on your backpack or handle etc.

At the center, you have the power button with an infinity logo that lights up. Then you have the volume control and the multifunction buttons towards the edges. You can also use these buttons to change tracks and to accept or reject calls.

If you long-press the play/pause button, you can connect it to another Fuze 100 speaker and use them in stereo mode, which is pretty cool. One small issue about these buttons is that they are not easy to press, but it’s not a big deal.

Opening the flap at the back will let you access the micro USB charging port and the AUX in port for wired use. The reason you have a flap is that this is IPX7 water-resistant, so you can throw it in water, and it will float without getting damaged.

The speaker also supports stereo pairing, so if you have two of these, you can use them in stereo mode, which is a nice feature to have in this price range.

You also have a microphone on this speaker, and it doesn’t sound as good as using your phone, but it works well, and people on the other side were able to understand me quickly.

The battery life is around 8 hours, which is decent.

Coming to the sound quality, it is perfect for the price, compared to its smaller sibling, you are getting a big jump in sound quality, and for watching videos on your phone, it is terrific.

It is also suitable for listening to music, but the low end is not going to be amazing because of its small size.

You can switch between a deep bass mode and a normal EQ mode by holding the two-volume buttons, and while on other infinity products, I have recommended using the normal EQ mode. With this speaker, the deep bass mode is needed for music as it makes up for the lack of low end. It also makes the treble a bit harsh, because it seems to apply a v-shaped sound signature, so for watching

YouTube videos, I prefer the normal EQ mode.

Other than that, the speaker sounds more significant than what you would expect, looking at its size, and I think that it offers a perfect combination of size, weight, sound quality, and price.

So if you’re shopping in the 1500 rs. range, I would recommend this speaker, it is just a very well rounded product, and all infinity speakers have the perfect design and build, and they all feel great in hand.

JBL Go 2

Dimention

  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker

The JBL Go 2 is one of the best-selling and well-regarded small speakers in the Bluetooth segment, but it’s been years, and the badly needed refresh has finally arrived.

Go 2 is very similar in design and physical aspects to the Go except for a few things like a fatter front and back, water-resistance, and the play button.

The sound is pretty good for a small speaker. It sounds a little bit clearer with better bass. When it comes to loudness, I feel like, with some songs, the go 2 seems a bit louder. Also, it’s not dancing around at all at 100% volume and has very little to no distortion at full capacity.

The bass is good for its size, but this isn’t great for electronic music. Only the mid-bass will be audible, and it won’t have the impact that you can have with more prominent Bluetooth speakers in the same price range. The mids are perfect, and it is excellent for watching TV shows, movies, and YouTube videos. Vocals sound great too, and so makes Indian music. The highs are good, they are very present, but their quality and definition aren’t excellent. The unique feature about this speaker is you get a notification tone when you reach the low and high volume, which I always appreciate in speakers.

The battery of JBL Go 2 lasts for 5 hours, which isn’t a lot, but it should last for longer if you’re listening to something that doesn’t have a lot going on. Also it takes 2.5 hours to get fully charged.

Coming with an IPX7 rating, it ensures hassle-free performance near the pool, in the bathroom, and even in the rain also.

  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker

It is stylish and loud HD audio with punchy bass and crystal clear sound. It is designed not just to look good but also sound great.

It comes in various colors, like elegant black and stylish grey, etc.. Choose the color that reflects your style, and you can enjoy it, but I like the black color most because the fashionable grey color gets dirtier when you use it in the party picnic or the gym.

The quality of the fabric on top is better and has the same four buttons on the top. These buttons are made out of plastic and are raised, making them easy to use. The moonstone also has a lanyard attached to it, which makes it convenient to hang. A rubber flap protects the micro USB port for charging,  3.5 mm aux input, a reset button, and in this case, a micro SD card slot as well.

Moonstone gets a lower IPX6 rating, which means it is only splash resistant. This speaker supports Bluetooth 4.2.

The moonstone has a bigger battery and claimed a playback time of 6 hours at 70% volume, and I managed to get 4 hours of continuous playback. While blasting it at full capacity, the Mivi moonstone speaker has got acceptable performance for the price it is coming.

The only disappointment with this speaker is it lack bass. Other than this, the battery life is just amazing. You can have a continuous playback time of 6 to 7 hours if you maintain the volume levels at 70%.

Buy this Mivi moonstone wireless Bluetooth speaker for its fantastic design high audio quality and amazing battery life of 6 to 7 hours.

It is also value for money, and overall, it is a perfect wireless bold speaker that comes at a budget price. You can enjoy using it.

Mi Basic 2

  • Dual Speaker Unit
  • Great Connectivity
  • Matt Aluminum Finish
  • Somewhat Large

Dimention

15.5 x 6 x 2.6 cm

249 Grams

Charging Time

3 Hours approx.

  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker
  • 1 Charging Cable
  • 1 User Manual
  • 1 Waranty Card

The built quality of Mi basic 2 is  impressive. It has a matt aluminum metal frame with the criss-cross pattern at the front, which is soft to touch as it is made up of plastic.  This compact device consists of two speaker units. It has two buttons on the top; One is a power button and another os volume up and down.

The buttons are very tactile and working smoothly. At the backside of the speaker, there are two ports. One is the charging port, and another is a 3.5 mm audio jack. Rubber grips at the bottom do a fantastic job to hold the speaker steady. But, at 100% volume, the speaker starts moving here and there.

Mi basic 2 coming with Bluetooth version 4.2 having a range of 10 meters. If you went in another room having a single wall, it still stays connected. After you went away two bedrooms, i.e., having two walls, it starts to lose its connectivity.

The battery capacity of this speaker is 1200 mAh. It can last up to 5 hours, with a volume of 60%. The overall battery is satisfying. It also has a microphone which can be used for calls. The quality of calls is impressive at both ends.

The sound quality of the Mi Basic 2 is superb if you talk about lows and mids. But this speaker fails to produce a massive base.

Also, there’s no distortion bass. The speaker sounds fantastic in a small room and still seems good even in larger rooms.

Anker SoundCore

  • SD Card Support
  • Compact and Powerful
  • 24 Months Warranty
  • Different Connectivity Options
  • Loud and Robust Bass
  • No Major Issue Found

Dimention

6.9 x 6.9 x 6.9 cm

Weight

200 Grams

Battery Backup

10 Hours approx.

Charging Time

3 Hours approx.

  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker
  • 1 Charging Cable
  • 1 User Manual
  • 1 Waranty Card

Inside the box, you’ll find the speaker along with a micro USB cable to charge as well as a Quick Start Guide 24-month warranty and lifetime technical support.

The design of the sound core meaning is very minimalist about the size of a tennis ball; it measures in at just 2.6 inches tall and weighs less than 9 ounces, but it has a lovely solid feel to it. It doesn’t feel hollow or cheap.

The casing is made out of aluminum and has a matte black finish that doesn’t show fingerprints or smudges at all.

On the top, there is an aluminum mesh grille with the small anchor logo on the front you’ll find the rubber volume buttons and the multifunction button to play or pause and you can answer the call. If you hold down for two seconds, you can activate Siri or Google.

The buttons have an excellent responsive click and feel. Below the buttons, you’ll find a single LED indicator. On the backside, you’ll find the microphone for voice calls, a mode button to select your source, power switch, a 3.5-millimeter auxiliary input, a micro USB port for charging as well as a microSD card slot.

The bottom has a rubber ring, which does a great job of holding the sound core Mini in place, so the base doesn’t shake it off your desk or shelf.

The speaker is not water-resistant, though it’s sleek and small design makes it a perfect fit for any room of your house.

The sound Core Mini has an 1800 mAh battery, which will last up to 10 hours, which is more than double what you’ll find in similar speakers. A full charge will take under three hours.

When it comes to sound quality, I was blown away by this tiny speaker. There is just one 5 watt driver along with a passive subwoofer, but the sound quality is fantastic for the small size.

The driver is top facing, so you’ll get 360 degrees sound, and it does a great job filling an entire room with music. The passive subwoofer handles bass well. You’ll hear the kick drum hit hard, and surprisingly there’s the right amount of low-end bass.

Bass is not booming or overemphasized; it’s tight and accurate here. This is a very well-balanced speaker. Mids are clean, and vocals are clear, which does have a nice open feel but not overly bright again the trouble seems right; the speaker sounds great at full blast.

The sound core mini also has an FM tuner and will use the micro USB cable as the antenna; it’s a neat feature for sure. Still, with no display, it’s impossible to tell which station you’re on, and you have to hold down either volume buttons to go forward or back to the last station.

The Portronics SoundDrum

  • FM Radio
  • USB Connection
  • 1800 mAh Powerful Battery
  • Water Resistant Design
  • Solid and Premium Build Quality
  • Missing Deep Base

Dimention

7.9 x 6.4 x 6.2 cm

Weight

Battery Backup

9 Hours approx.

Charging Time

4 Hours approx.

  • 1 Bluetoooth Speaker
  • 1 Charging Cable
  • 1 User Manual
  • 1 Waranty Card

The sound drum is a small and portable cylindrical speaker with the entire unit covered in fabric and plastic. I’m just glad to see that Protronics has managed to cramp a bass radiator in this size of the speaker.

The speaker does feature the usual controls on the front, and the buttons do feel clicky and tactile. The micro USB charging port, the USB port for USB playback function, is at the back of the speaker. You can find the ports that are covered because of the water-resistance.

The sound drum has FM functionality; pretty feature pack speakers for the money.

Overall I like the design; it has an excellent build that gives the speaker a sturdy feel to it.

Protronics has impressed me with most of their speaker’s performances. The sound drum left me pretty excited. The bass was lovely. Thanks to the bass radiator. It does have an intense and robust bass for such a small speaker, but at times feels Hollow and too loud. The mids and highs sounded crisp, and the instrumentals sounded pretty clear

The speaker does get pretty loud but has little distortion at higher volumes. Unfortunately, this loudness affects speaker stability. At 100% volume, the speaker shakes and rumbles with the bass. So, stick to around 70 percent or thus volume, and you should have good sound and bass quality.

Being such a small speaker usually means decent battery life, but I was surprised when the sound drum lasted for a very long 9 hours at approximately 70% volume and took pretty long four and a half hours to fully charge from dead.

So what are my final thoughts?

If you have a budget of less than 2,000 and want a portable well built water-resistant speaker with excellent performance, then definitely check out the sound room.

When you think about buying a Bluetooth speaker, the brands that usually come to mind are probably JBL, Logitech, Philips, and others, but HP is retailing for 1600 Indian currency.

The HP 6500 is made of a blend of matte and glossy plastic with rubber feet at the bottom.

The design is well best described as different than the usual round and rectangle speakers.

We have the power button at the bottom of the speaker, not a big fan play/pause, volume controls, Bluetooth and battery indicator LED, and a microphone at the front of the speaker.

The back of the speaker houses the micro USB charging port and auxiliary one splash pro probably HP added to give it a more clean look now talking about the charging port.

Pairing is very straightforward; turn ON the speaker, and it automatically tries to pair with a device with a blinking blue LED turning solid once connected, and you have portable wireless music.

The bass was okay, don’t expect too much from a speaker of this size ever. Sound is loud and pretty clear sounding even at higher volumes without any distortions. It’s sufficient to fill a small room but doesn’t plan for a party. Mids and highs were also good without being too sharp.

HP claims around 10 hours of battery life, and in my testing, at 55 to 60% volume, I got that actually. To charge the speaker from the dead to full, it took me around three and a half hours, and yes, you can use the speaker while it’s charging.

In my opinion, it is an excellent value for money with excellent sound quality and extremely shocking battery life, which is on par with other small Bluetooth speakers.

So, this is the list of the best Bluetooth speakers under 2000 INR with well-detailed reviews. If you look at these speakers, you will notice that the speakers are not ideal for outdoor usage as they have not sufficient bass. They are perfect for home usage only.
